5 Essentials in Instructor Ellen’s Daily Wellness Routine

At Provision, we love sharing what keeps our instructors feeling strong, supported, and energized—not just in the studio, but throughout their daily lives. This week, we're spotlighting five non-negotiables from Ellen's personal wellness routine. From nourishing her gut to daily movement and recovery tools, here’s what she swears by to feel her best and show up for her community each day.

1. Bone Broth Every Morning

Ellen starts most mornings with a warm bone broth—for both the comforting start to the day and the health benefits. Bone broth is rich in collagen and protein, which support joint health, skin, and muscle recovery. Her current favorite brand? Kettle & Fire. One day, she hopes to make her own—but for now, this store-bought staple is a go-to.

2. Daily Coconut Yogurt for Gut Health

Prioritizing gut health is huge for Ellen. Instead of taking a pill or gummy, she opts for a spoonful of coconut yogurt each day to get her probiotics in naturally. Right now, she’s loving Coconut Cult—a creamy, tangy, probiotic-rich brand with major benefits. It’s a small but meaningful way to support her overall wellness from the inside out.

3. Red Light Mask Therapy

Inflammation and skin health are no joke, especially with a full movement schedule. Ellen uses the OmniLux red light mask four to five times a week for 10 minutes at a time. This high-tech self-care tool helps with inflammation, supports anti-aging, and gives her that post-glow calm before bed or before teaching.

4. Vibration Plate for Back Relief & Circulation

With scoliosis and a history of back pain, Ellen is intentional about how she cares for her body. Pilates has been instrumental in her healing—but she also uses a vibration plate at home to help ease lingering back tension. It promotes circulation, lymphatic drainage, and deep muscle relief—similar to why she’s such a fan of the rebounders at Provision!

5. Walking for Movement & Mindfulness

You’ll rarely find Ellen sitting still for too long. One of her favorite daily habits? Getting outside for walks whenever she can. She feels her best when she hits her 10,000-step goal—not for the number’s sake, but for the intentional movement and mental clarity it brings. Even on the busiest days, she looks for small chances to sneak in extra steps.

Ellen’s routine is a reminder that wellness isn’t one-size-fits-all—it’s about finding what works for you and creating space for small, meaningful habits that build a strong foundation over time.
